Lors de notre récent passage à **Tales of the Cocktail**, nous avons eu le plaisir de participer à un déjeuner en compagnie du fondateur de **Monkey 47**, **Alexander Stein**. L’occasion bien évidemment de redécouvrir ce gin au travers de trois cocktails spécialement concoctés pour l’occasion par **Pamela Wiznitzer** (**Seamstress**, New York), **Gregory Buda** (**The Dead Rabbit**, NY) et **Sean Hoard** (**Teardrop Lounge**, Portland)…

Ingrédients :

- 40 ml de gin **Monkey 47**
- 30 ml de vermouth infusé au thé blanc
- 15 ml d’eau infusée au citron jaune
- 1 goutte d’absinthe

Préparation : au verre à mélange et avec un zest de citron jaune exprimé avant de servir

Ingrédients :

- 30 ml de gin **Monkey 47**
- 1 goutte de **Regan’s** #6 orange bitters
- 1 goutte de **Pernod Absinthe**
- 5 ml de **Nardini** Acqua di Cedro
- 10 ml de **Dolin** Génépy des Alpes
- 10 ml de **Blume Marillen** Apricot Eau de Vie
- 30 ml de **Alvear** Pale Cream Sherry

Garniture : un zest d’orange

*Spirit Animal* par **Sean Hoard**

Ingrédients :

- 30 ml de gin **Monkey 47**
- 15 ml de **Benedictine**
- 15 ml de **Maker’s Mark**

 Préparation : Préparer au verre à mélange ou au verre old-fashioned directement avec un large morceau de glace. Garnir avec un zest d’orange.
